Answer: Sorry no. This smart plug only supports 2.4G WIFI signal, just like many other smart home devices.
Q3: Why it only supports 2.4G signal? Why not 5G?
Answer: We designed it in this way on the consideration that the 2.4G WIFI signal has a better resistance against interference, it spread further than 5G WIFI, especially in home environment that walls and other accessories are in the way. 5G WIFI is faster in speed, correct, but smart plug doesn't need that high speed to work.
Q4: Can I adjust the lightness of the bulb with this smart plug?
Answer: Sorry no. This plug provides the function of "Switch ON / OFF". The lightness shall be adjusted within the light itself.
Q5: Does this smart plug (socket) work with Amazon ALEXA and Google Home?
Answer: Yes, it can work with Alexa and Google Home. Besides, it also partially support the connection of the Mijia, ******, Xiaodu smart system.
Q6: Can I turn the plug on if it is off now?
Answer: Yes, it's possible. As long as the smart plug has a power supply and is in connection with the Internet through home WIFI. Please keep an eye on the WIFI connection.
Q7: If I take the smart plug off from the wall socket and then plus it back, does the previous setting still exist? Do I have to set again?
Answer: Yes, the settings are stored in the chip, so don't worry about losing power for a period of time. When it regains power, it will work with the previous settings again.
